Did you start with a strategy then change your mind or did you dive in straight away with different calculations for each envelope? Do you think now you could tell me exactly how the envelopes could be organised so no digit card is used more than once? 4+3=7 so that means 4 and 3 are in the envelope marked 7 – you can’t use them again! Wow ths is interesting Harry. You’ve used addition and also x. Is there any way to do it only using addition I wonder? Have you tried? Have you decided what’s in each envelope? You can only use each digit once!

I think you can only use each number once. I tried different ways of aranging the cards until I found a solution. One envelope has only one card in. I will put my solution in the box.
